Did you know the Louisiana Bucket Brigade is in its 11th year? For more than a decade, we have worked hard to create strategic campaigns to advocate for clean communities free from toxic pollution. After hurricanes Katrina and Rita, our member community was dispersed across the country and we are working hard to rebuild our membership through a vigorous canvass campaign.
Now, with our work assisting communities in the shadow of industry and areas affected by the BP Oil Spill, the Louisiana Bucket Brigade needs your help more than ever.
Join the Louisiana Bucket Brigade and you will directly help communities neighboring oil refineries in Louisiana gain access to the support they need to call for accountability from petrochemical plants. You will become a member of the growing environmental and health justice movement in Louisiana and help communities become free from environmental pollutants that affect their ability to lead sustainable lives.
